Create relationships with a companion Sister and welcoming community.
Candidacy
Take the first formal step of entrance: Live for a period, usually one year, in an SNJM community.
Novitiate
Spend a two-year period of integration into religious life.
First year: Focuses on deepening a life of prayer, reflection, and learning the way of vowed life in the SNJM tradition.
Second year: Provides an experience of mission, community life and an opportunity to serve in an SNJM ministry.
Temporary Vows
Live vowed commitment for three to six years.
Continue an SNJM apostolic lifestyle flowing from the values of vowed poverty, celibacy and obedience.
Permanent Vows
Choose to make the vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience for a lifetime within the SNJM Congregation.
