We missed Mary Ellen – Montreal Time difference too late this time…

We continue to gather in the context of our Themes: educating ourselves, acting with intention, and reflecting personally and together in our group.

Topics of Interest and involvement:

Call to Action:
Kathy’s involvement in San Jose and the issues which are arising as to the presence and participation of women priests and access to places for the group to meet.

Mary’s involvement facilitating a group of Spokane Board members in discussing Paul Lakeland’ Catholicism at the Crossroads – How the Laity can Save the Church.

Effecting Change in the Church

We recognize that it takes time and patience. Effective strategy is to keep on talking so that the issues remain before us.

Interest and Concern for Youth in the Church
Group reporting on what they have noticed regarding youth in various milieus we represent.
Noticing how youth are responding to environmental issues, political involvement and election process.
Western Conference of Associates are going to include dialogue with youth.
Web Pages to check out: bustedhalo.com.
