Dialogue with Church-Group 2 Conference Call
October 17, 2007

The Church Dialog Group convened by Miriam Malone met for the second time by conference call on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. The first meeting earlier this year was between two members of the group. In response to the follow-up invitation to engage in conversation, three members are now able to participate in this dialog and are committed to doing so: Mary Mackessy, Faorrel Richardson and Miriam Malone. We pray for the health of those unable to join with us for our conference calls.

Mary Mackessy reported that another dialog group has been unable to meet to date. We will invite them to join us on our next call on November 15th at 5:00 p.m. Mary will facilitate the invitation and Miriam will coordinate the communication.

Prior to that conversation we will have read  "A Marginal Life: Pursuing Holiness in the 21 st Century," the keynote address by Laurie Brink, O.P. at the last LCWR meeting.

We will use this document as a lens through which to further our conversation about Church issues in light of our Chapter Act. The article is available on the LCWR website. We are happy to have anyone interested contribute to our conversation.
