A 40-foot container of medical humanitarian aid is on its way to Lesotho, where Sisters will distribute several hundred medical supplies to clinics and hospitals. Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary have been in Lesotho more than 80 years, and for the past two years they have received containers from MedShare. The supplies, which left San Leandro, CA, on November 17, include exam gloves, disposable patient gowns, adhesive dressings, syringes, alcohol swabs, hospital beds, and much more. The container should arrive in January.
