Carroll Ann Kemp, SNJM received the High School Principals’ Association Veteran Teachers Award on October 29, 2010, for her work as freshmen religion teacher at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC. From the Gonzaga faculty nomination: “Her love and respect for each of her students, her ability to engage them in prayer and social justice, and her everyday acts of kindness and generosity remind us that we are called to do more than just teach. We are called to ‘strive for the magis,’ to do more than is required.”
