Congratulations to Sharon Francis, SNJM, who was honored by the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem and by the President of the United States for her efforts to eliminate trafficking of women and children. Sharon received the Call to Service Award from the President's Council on Service and Participation. At the awards banquet Sharon acknowledged that, as a Sister of the Holy Names, her efforts are aligned with the SNJM Congregational Corporate Stand to eradicate human trafficking internationally, and with UNANIMA International, the Non-Governmental Organization comprised of 17 religious communities of Catholic women in 72 countries.
