Congratulations to Kathleen Ross, SNJM, who was honored at the Women's University Club of Seattle, WA on April 27. The Brava! Awards Celebration recognizes "women of exceptional vision who have affected significant and enduring changes in our community." Martha Yallup, co-founder of Heritage University, was also recognized for expanding academic opportunities for youth of the Yakima Nation. The Women's University Club selected Sr. Kathleen as a nationally recognized leader in higher education and the field of cross-cultural communication. During her presidency of Heritage University, from 1982 to 2010, the student body grew from 85 to over 1,400. Congratulations on this recognition of educational leadership!
