Mass in honor of SNJM Jubilarians

On Sunday, January 29, Bishop Jose Gomez celebrated mass in honor of SNJM Jubilarians in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Mary Ann Connell, SNJM, Vera Ruotolo, SNJM, Mary Leo Grijalva, SNJM and Jean Morningstar, SNJM were among the Diamond Jubilarians who were honored.

Art Raimo shares his experience at Gasparilla

Art Raimo, President of Academy of the Holy Names, Tampa, recently blogged about his experiences with the Tampa celebration of Gasparilla, an annual pirate festival. "Better than 200 parents, students, staff and friends of the Academy marched in the parade. I am happy to report that it turned out to be a great community experience for everyone involved." Freedom Walk participants featured in The Tidings

The SNJMs of the Southern California Mission Centre participated in an anti-human trafficking event that is featured in the Los Angeles Archdiocese newspaper, The Tidings. Participants included Sisters, Associates, students and teachers in SNJMs schools. Catholic Schools Superintendent for Oakland, Barbara Bray, SNJM, was interviewed in the Catholic Voice for Catholic Schools Week 2012. "We have the right schools in the right places, fully enrolled and financially viable. All children are welcome and no child is turned away because of financial need.
