Our "Interdependence 3" group, Cathy Leamy, Judy Rinek, Mary Anna Enderle, Mary Hansen, Pat Mills, and I, offer the following summary of our April conference call:
The common theme of our reflections on interdependence is that we are not only interested in interdependence and dedicated to it, but are in positions where we can teach or encourage others to consider interdependence and practice it, not only within community but in outside ministries as well. This is the future of community, mission, society and the world if there is to be a future.
A book related to interdependence that I would highly recommend is David Korten's The Great Turning.
