Since 1864, the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, and their Associates, have ministered in Windsor, Ontario.

Throughout their history here, the SNJMs have been known for their warm hospitality, simplicity, "down to earth" fun, and a real desire to reach out to  the poor and those in need. SNJMS are involved in the work of the Windsor Refugee Office, the Marie-Rose Music Studio, the ministry of touch/art of anointing, Habitat for Humanity, volunteer efforts, and peace/justice ministries.
