New: photos of preparations for the 2008 Chapter and Gathering.
The Mid-Atlantic Mission Centre, drawing on the strengths of its 29 Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary and its six Associates, has a strong commitment to justice. Small wonder: Washington, D.C., is on the eastern edge of the Mission Centre. Projects include: prison ministry; preparing and providing food for construction workers at Habitat for Humanity; participation in prayer services and marches for peace, as well as SOA demonstrations; and sponsoring a conference on Human Trafficking.
