What can you do to "act justly"?
Lobby your government representatives to improve the social safety net (welfare, health care, childcare, shelters and assistance programs that fight poverty and abuse). Support community groups that offer assistance and shelter with your financial aid, walkathons, fundraisers and contributions of goods and time.
