HIV/AIDS
timeline

Linda Rose Fuselier, SNJM, at the HIV/AIDS Name Project in Washington, D.C.
Sisters and Associates of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary have been part of the response to the HIV/AIDS crisis since the 1980s. These responses take many forms: working with children who have the virus that causes AIDS or whose caregivers are affected; ministries in prisons; chaplains at hospitals; prayer. Two Sisters create justice cards, which include one for HIV/AIDS. Watch for an HIV/AIDS timeline that describes our work. Meanwhile, the Kaiser Family Foundation offers a comprehensive timeline (click here).
