SNJMs work in Florida: our

Nearly 150 years ago 12 Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary first set foot in Florida en route to Oregon Territory. People there asked them to stay. They couldn't – they had promised to teach elsewhere. But not long afterward, Holy Names Sisters did come to Florida to stay. SNJMs and Associates remain in Florida today, working where the Spirit leads them.
